Important tips to help your cake arrive safely and look its best.
- Your cake will usually be packaged in a sealed box to protect it from dust, rain, and damage during transport. (Some larger or gravity-defying cakes may not fit standard packaging.)
- The safest way to transport your cake is in the flat cargo area of a van, SUV, or station wagon. Smaller cakes may fit securely on the floor of a passenger seat area if necessary.
- Cakes should never be transported on a seat, in someone’s lap, or held by hand while driving.
- Before pickup, please clear and clean the transport area to ensure the cake sits on a flat, stable surface free from loose items or debris.
- On warm days, air conditioning is essential. Please cool your vehicle before pickup and keep the A/C running during transport.
- Pets should not travel in the vehicle while transporting your cake.
- Drive carefully and smoothly. Sudden braking, sharp turns, fast acceleration, uneven roads, or steep angles can damage the cake.
- Please arrive at your scheduled pickup time so your cake can remain properly stored until collection.
- Once you arrive at your venue, move the cake indoors promptly and display it in a cool area away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or windows where sunlight may shift throughout the day.
Important Note
Once the cake has been collected and placed in your vehicle, responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer. Damage caused during transport, setup, or storage after pickup is not covered.

I have opted to pick up my wedding or specialty cake instead of having it delivered. I understand that transporting this type of cake requires all of the above pre-arrangements, and I agree to prepare my vehicle in advance accordingly
I acknowledge that once I’ve picked up my cake, Arbitrary Cakes cannot be held liable for any damage that may occur during transport, handling, set up or display. Once I have the cake, it is my responsibility to transport it directly to the event venue and not leave it unattended in my vehicle or anywhere outside.
